InkFrog hosted the banners, headers and gallery images inside thousands of eBay listing descriptions. When it went offline, every one of those images died at once. eBay doesn't warn you. Your buyers just see empty grey boxes where your product photos should be.

Mend is submitted to the Microsoft Edge store and waiting on Microsoft's review. Leave your email and you get one message the day it goes live — plus the launch discount. Nothing else.
The core version of Mend is free and always will be. The early-bird license is for sellers who want
to back it early: you get every Pro feature we ship — full-shop sweep across all your listings,
scheduled re-checks, one-click image repair — at no extra cost, forever.
Honest timing: Pro features ship over the coming weeks, not today. If Mend does not turn out to be
worth it, email us within 30 days and we refund you in full. No questions.
Is Mend available right now?
It is submitted to the Microsoft Edge Add-ons store and in Microsoft's review queue. Leave your email above and you get one message the day it goes live — nothing else.
What exactly does it check?
Every image address in the listings you open yourself — gallery images and images embedded in the description. Any address that no longer loads gets flagged, and you get a fix list with the item number next to it.
Will it repair the listings for me?
It flags and lists, it does not silently edit your live listings. eBay's own rule is that you revise your listings yourself, and a tool that quietly rewrote them would put your account at risk. Mend keeps the decision with you.
Can't I just move to one of the listing tools that rebuilds everything?
You can, and several will even migrate you for free. What they do is rebuild and re-host — that means handing over store access and letting someone rewrite your live descriptions. Mend answers the question that comes before that: which listings of mine are actually broken? It needs no account, no eBay permissions and never edits a listing, so you can run it first, then decide if any migration is worth doing at all.
Isn't there already a free scanner that does this?
Partly, yes, and you should know about it: ISDNtek's Bulk Photo Scanner is free, needs no signup and reports listings with no photo, one photo or photos below eBay's 500px rule across up to 10,000 items. Its own page warns that eBay throttles it and that a scan can stop a few pages in. Two things it can't do from eBay's public search results: see listings search won't return (out of stock, adult-only, hidden), or look inside a description for images that no longer resolve — which is where the InkFrog-style breakage lives. Mend is that half. If the free scanner already answered your question, you don't need to pay us anything.
Does it crawl my whole shop in the background?
No, and that is deliberate. Automated bulk requests are against eBay's user agreement, so Mend only inspects the pages you open yourself and never sends a request to eBay on your behalf.
Does it cost anything?
The core version is free and always will be. The $15 early-bird license above is optional: it covers every Pro feature we ship later (full-shop sweep, scheduled re-checks, one-click repair), and it is refundable within 30 days.
My listings came from a tool that shut down. Does that matter?
That is the most common cause. When a listing tool hosts your images and then closes, every image address pointing at its domain stops resolving — the listing stays live and the pictures go blank. eBay does not warn you. Mend finds them for you.
Can it see my sales data?
No. Mend uploads nothing and stores its findings locally in your browser. See the Privacy Policy below.
